Nothing like a community partner, Mt. Washington Florist, providing us with a beautiful bouquet wishing us a great school year! Thank you for bringing brightening our day with these flowers!

PGE students enjoyed a visit from Southland Mobile Dairy farm. They learned about dairy cows and the importance of dairy products. Intermediate students learned the science behind making ice cream and 5th graders had a hand in churning homemade ice cream and shaking ice cream in a bag. Ask your child what they learned today.

We had a great time celebrating Dot Day today! Students learned that they can make a mark on the world through words, actions or creativity. They enjoyed a book by Peter H. Reynolds, danced along to The Dot song and helped create two different murals that we will display at PGE. https://sites.google.com/bullitt.kyschools.us/pgenews/home

It begins with a song and how you connect to the words. Then leads into Langston Hughes’s poem, Dreams. Our 5th graders are digging deep as they discuss figurative language and theme.
Hold fast to your dreams and never stop believing!
