
Before the break, grade level teachers hosted student community building time. They celebrated the Month of Giving with a Thanksgiving Feast, with conversation starter activities, simple crafts and other team building time.

We have a few PACK Positive Student Shoutouts this week! Mr. Simpson says William Caldwell is "Always prepared for my 4th period ELA class". Mr. Miracle says " Lucas will always give a hello and greet you with a smile" and finally Mrs. Badgley says "Izzy consistently volunteers to take care of our Advisory Chromebook Cart. She does a GREAT job at taking care of her peers' chrome books, and exemplifies PRIDE!"




We asked families to fill out a shoutout to ZMS staffulty that has made an impact on your students. Thank you to everyone who responded, it's nice to sprinkle some gratitude around. We hope our Timberwolves have a restful and wonderful Thanksgiving break with loved ones! :)







Congrats to the ZMS Chess Team who achieved third place in their tournament over the weekend! Way to go!


Congratulations to these students who were selected KMEA District 5 Honor Band:The auditions are highly competitive, so this is a HUGE accomplishment! All who auditioned should be very proud of themselves for preparing difficult music and going through the process.
Also, make plans to attend our ZMS Band's Winter Concert: December 10th at 6:30 in the ZMS gym. Band students should arrive by 6:00 pm



Here is the highly anticipated girls' volleyball information! This is open to any ZMS girl, must have a sports physical to try out.

Mrs. Thompson applied for multiple grants with the Fund for the Arts. We received one grant for our seventh graders to experience an assembly KY Shakespeare's Two Actor program of A Midsummer Night's Dream. On Tuesday they performed and captivated our students with multiple quick change outfits, and had an interactive presentation and involved our students! Thank you to KY Shakespeare and Mrs Thompson for a wonderful experience for our students.








By having Big Smiles Dentistry here yesterday day, we saved 29.4 days of school. We appreciate your contribution to ZMS! Heads up parents a they are coming again on May19th if you want to sign your child up. Thank you to Mrs Eskridge for coordinating this event for ZMS

This week's Pack Positive Student Shoutout goes to Gabe Reyna, 7th grader. Mrs. Roach says "Gabe is a star leader. He ensures that everyone feels involved and supported during class activities. His leadership allows others to build confidence and find enjoyment in class activities. Our classroom is better because of Gabe!"

Introducing the ZMS 2024-25 Teacher of the Year, Heather Bronson! Her colleagues voted for her and recognized her tireless efforts to make her students learn at high levels. She's always willing to go the extra mile! Congrats Mrs Bronson!



The Mayor of Hillview and other BCPS district employees visited our College Career Lab with Mr. Greenwell's students. They observed how our students are utilizing this new program to explore opportunities for post K12 life and to be contributing members of our community.




It's almost Volleyball season! Tryouts will most likely be in early December. Go ahead and make sure to get the sports physicals taken care of and ready to go! Further details and dates will be coming soon.
