Tomorrow is Wacky Wednesday


Not only did Emery and Cole make great efforts with their writing in the live scoring today but their patience did not go unnoticed. Their choice to read while they waited a turn made the learning experience pleasant for everyone!! They earned a book from the book vending machine for this respectful act!


Don't forget - Tomorrow, March 4th is our Literacy Night from 5:30-7:00

The 21st Annual Bluegrass Regional Grandparents/ Relatives Raising Children Conference (GAP) will take place on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Clarion Hotel, 1950 Newtown Pike, Lexington, KY. All grandparents, relatives, kinship caregivers and professionals are invited to attend!
This year’s keynote speaker, Dr. Clarissa Roan-Belle, Licensed Psychologist, Higher Horizons. Her workshops include:
Cultivating Resilient Seeds: Nurturing Children Through Trauma
Tending to the Gardener: Self-Care for Caregivers Raising Trauma Exposed Children
There will be six other workshops offered:
Legal 101: The Basics of Family Court
The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health
Taking Care of Your Crown
The Effects of Substance Abuse on Kids-Parents and the Family System
Navigating Financial Uncertainty
Navigating the Journey: Empowering Families and Caregivers of Individual's with Autism and/or Disabilities
Grandparents/Relatives can sign up for a FREE Legal Consult. A limited number of free legal consultations regarding guardianship, custody, child support and related issues will be available upon request. Appointments will be assigned based upon the date the consultation request is received.
The conference fee is $10.00 for grandparent, relative or caregiver and $75.00 for professionals (includes CEUs for Social Work and FRYC Training Hours). Registration fee includes lunch and workshop materials. Please note that there will be no refunds after March 5, 2025.
