What a beautiful day to use those points earned to crush cans! Macy and Lily did so well smashing cans alone but also as a pair! We were able to add over 500 cans to the bin but continue to send in those beverage cans for future crushing!! ♻️

The Million Can Recycling Contest informational kick-off, in partnership with Tri-Arrows Aluminum, for our 3rd graders was a success! They were given facts about the importance of recycling, learned about the amazing prizes they can earn, and completed a pledge stating they would be part of the solution in saving cans!! We saw some friends model can crushing which is a reward they can earn using their points. So much work to be done and lots of fun to be had throughout! The Million Can Recycling Contest is underway! ♻️

This All-Star took home a new book for Fall Break. He was lined up after lunch following all the expectations! This earned him a "Caught you Coin" and a trip to the book vending machine. Nice job making the right choices Xander!

Mason was given a "caught you coin" for being an amazing person. He has shown so much growth and become a role model for others. He reflects on the lessons he was taught and uses them in his daily routines!! We are so proud of him.

The 3rd graders launched the 25–26 Million Can Recycling Contest with an unforgettable Kick-Off Event alongside the incredible team from Tri-Arrows Aluminum! 🎉 Last year, our school did something amazing—we crushed our goal of collecting 150,000 beverage cans! This year, we’re setting our sights just as high—and we know, with your help, we can soar past that milestone. 💪✨

Let’s make this our biggest year yet—start saving those cans today and help us make a huge impact! ♻️🙌

These superstars, Carter, Ella and Greyson, could not go unnoticed as they were being role models of following the MWES Braves expectations for standing in a line. They made the right choices of hands to self, facing forward and a zero voice level. We cannot say enough how proud we are and happy to recognize them with a "caught you coin". That allowed each of them to pick a book from the book vending machine! Nice Job!

Just as clarification - if you get a text from transportation, chances are it means your student's bus is affected. You have to click the link in the text to see the full list. If you get a text, it most likely means your bus is out. If you are not receiving texts about your bus being out, please let us know so we can verify transportation in Infinite Campus.

Another successful day of Donuts with Grown-Ups. The smiles on the students' faces were as sweet as all the sugar consumed!! It is a fun way to start each morning with family and friends sharing a meal!
