Woods’ Emergency Procedures classes had some fun learning about PPE today and the correct donning and doffing procedures. They had some relay races to learn the order and posed for some fun pics afterwards as a classroom building mg activity!! #EveryEagleEveryDay

Freshman English classes did genre book tasting this week in the library. New this year students can log their reading minutes using Beanstack. There will be reading challenges and students can earn badges and other incentives throughout the year. #EveryEagleEveryDay

World Civ classes did a gallery walk analyzing propaganda in fiction and entertainment in order to understand strategies of propaganda and how it can be used before then applying what they learned to their study of the Mongols in history. #EveryEagleEveryDay

Today, we focused on the “O” for Ownership in SOAR! Taking time to review expectations helps ensure that all students and staff are on the same page about what’s expected every day. #EveryEagleEveryDay

Mrs. Hunt's AP Lit students are learning how to write a defensible thesis using sentence strips. Students Model Mrs. Hunt’s feedback strategy with sticky notes to help their peers improve and revise their statements. #EveryEagleEveryDay

Mrs. Seawright led a creative activity today, helping students chunk a text to better understand their reading. She built in plenty of brain breaks to keep students engaged and focused throughout the lesson. #EveryEagleEveryDay

Today during TEAM time, we focused on the “S” in SOAR — Safety! 🦅 Students worked together to discuss and share how we demonstrate safety in our school and classrooms. #EveryEagleEveryDay
