In Mr. Morrison’s class, students rolled up their sleeves to give old technology a new purpose. By wiping hard drives, installing Linux, and building SmartPass kiosks for classrooms, they practiced being Innovative Problem Solvers—anticipating challenges, testing solutions, and creating something that has an immediate impact on their school community. #EveryEagleEveryDay

Ms. Tilford challenged her seniors with a puzzle that had no picture to guide them. Teams had to rely on communication, listening, and creative thinking to succeed. It was a powerful way to practice being Productive Collaborators—leveraging strengths, synthesizing perspectives, and learning how feedback helps a group reach its goal. #EveryEagleEveryDay

Senior meeting today for the Class of 2026! 🎓 We saved the best for last and can’t wait to see how you write the final chapter of your story this year! 💚 #EveryEagleEveryDay Here is a recap of the senior announcements: $50 senior fee payable through schoolcashonline.com or by cash or check to the front office or rm 210 Your senior fee covers:  • senior t-shirt • Graduation and Baccalaureate Programs • Senior events (at least 1 per quarter)  • Senior Breakfast at grad practice • Field Day Lunch and Awards • Academic and Career ready cords Cap and gown meeting will occur in September and orders will be due in December. Keep an eye on your google classroom at least weekly and make sure you haven't missed any posts. Additionally, keep an eye on your attendance and grades throughout the year to be eligible to walk in graduation. Graduation Requirements (Per BCPS policy): 1. Have no more than ten (10) cumulative unexcused absences during their final year. 2. Be free of all disciplinary action (must complete all detentions, Friday/Saturday School, and complete any suspension). 3. Fulfill all restitution on any outstanding financial obligations (fees, fines, loans, cafeteria charges, etc.) 4. Be in attendance and conduct themselves in a responsible and orderly manner during all graduation ceremony practices. 5. Commit no egregious offenses that, in the Principal’s judgment, disqualify a student from participation in commencement ceremonies.

Students in Ms. Knight’s class are using Think-Pair-Share to dive into meaningful academic discourse about the Song Dynasty! It’s amazing to see them collaborating, sharing ideas, and deepening their understanding through discussion. #EveryEagleEveryDay

Walked into band classroom today and was blown away— so much math happening while students read music! From counting beats to reading rhythms, these Eagles are showing off some serious brain power. #everyeagleeveryday

During Team Time today, our students jumped into a fun activity called Quiz Quiz Trade! They moved around the room, asking and answering questions, trading cards, and learning more about one another. Activities like this help build connections, strengthen our classroom community, and make sure everyone feels like they belong. #EveryEagleEveryDay

Today our Eagles in the Class of 2027 gathered for their sophomore class meeting! 🦅 We reviewed important updates and set the tone for a great school year ahead. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things our sophomores will accomplish this year! #EveryEagleEveryDay

Students in Mr. Logan's class created their "Class Non-Negotiables" for them to hold themselves and their peers accountable to, implementing the Culture of Excellence into his Ag classroom! #EveryEagleEveryDay

✅ Once their employer approves it, they’ll complete the WBL Agreement—signed by the student, guardian, employer, and school coordinator.

Freshman Class Meeting
This morning our admin and counseling teams met with the freshman class to review our expectations. Class of 2029 is ready to SOAR!

Early Chromebook Pick Up is scheduled for August 8th 8:15-2:00. If you cannot pick up your chromebook on the day, that's okay- students will have the opportunity to get their chromebooks once school starts.

Please remember to pay your chromebook fee. You can pay online beforehand or bring $35 cash or check with you at time of pick up.

📢 Seniors doing Work-Based Learning or Co-Op this fall — listen up!

If you’ve already got a job (that aligns with your Career Pathway), you’re good to go for now! 🙌

We’ll go over everything you need — including the new online system — on the first day of school.
