👟 Let’s Get Moving, Bullitt County! 👟
May is National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, and we are kicking things off with National Physical Education & Sports Week!

At BCPS, our mission is to inspire and equip our students to succeed in life, and that starts with a healthy body and a focused mind. This month, we are championing the #MoveInMay initiative to highlight how staying active transforms our well-being.

🕒 The Daily Goal:
Students: Aim for 60 minutes of physical activity.
Adults: Aim for 30 minutes of physical activity.

Whether it’s a competitive game on the field, a walk through our beautiful Kentucky parks, or a quick dance break in the classroom, every movement counts toward better physical and mental health.

💬 A Huge Thank You
We want to share a massive shout-out to our incredible PE teachers, coaches, and staff members. You are the driving force behind our students Moving Forward, teaching them the discipline, teamwork, and habits they need to thrive long after graduation. Thank you for everything you do to support our students in leading healthy, active lives.

May is Mental Health Month💚

The U.S. Surgeon General reminds us that "social connection is a fundamental human need, as essential as food and water." This Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s honor that need by committing to check in on one another and building the meaningful bonds that help us all thrive.

Because no one should have to navigate life’s weights alone, your Care Match Link is available as a 24/7 lifeline for whenever daily stress feels like too much. This May, keep this resource close, for yourself or for someone you love, so support is always just a click away.
