Our THRIVE Academy is still rocking and rolling supporting our brand new teachers! Recently, our new MS/HS teachers worked with our district's Digital Learning Coaches on integrating technology effectively into their lessons. The group also spent more time working on lesson planning and classroom management. Stephanie Warner, AWARE Grant Director, joined in during the afternoon session and presented on forming relationships that lead to rigor. 👋 Introducing our 2023-2024 Graduate Profile Cohort! 👋 The BCPS Graduate Profile Cohort helps our teachers deeply understand all the pieces of our district's Graduate Profile. Using hands-on learning experiences, these teachers will learn about the depth and significance of each GP component, making it easier for them to include those elements more effectively in their teaching. By taking part in these experiences, teachers will gain the skills and knowledge needed to support students in becoming well-rounded learners who are ready to succeed in life. #MovingForward

BCPS ❤️s our Community Partners! Our McKinney-Vento program recently received a $5,000 donation from Jim Beam! This donation will be used to serve our homeless children and their families. We will use it for basic need items, to help with things like utility bills & motel funds, and to help remove other barriers for our MV students. Thank you for your generosity, Jim Beam!
